This program introduces the basic theories and knowledge of management, economics and sociology. With this specialty, the students are supposed to grasp the management skills and methods of modern social labor and security, to be familiar with the laws, regulations and policies of labor and social security in China and the history and current status of the theories and practices of labor and social security in both China and foreign countries. This program aims to train special talented personnel who, having a systematic knowledge of labor and social security and a broad knowledge of other relevant disciplines, are capable of carrying out investigation and research work in the field labor and social security and of resolving practical problems independently and innovatively, and who can therefore complete the corresponding work in various financial institutions, charity organizations, large or middle sized enterprises, teaching and research institutes and so on.
