This program mainly introduces the basic theories and knowledge of administration, economics and sociology. With this program, the students are supposed to master the skills and methods of labor and social security management in modern society; to be familiar with the laws, regulations and policies of labor and social security in China and to know about the history and status of the theories and practices of labor and social security in both China and foreign countries. The aim of this program is to train high-level professionals who, equipped with a systematic knowledge of labor and social security and a broad storage of other relevant knowledge as well, are capable of carrying out an investigation and study project in the field of labor and social security, and also able to independently and innovatively analyze and resolve practical problems. With the above capacities, they can therefore assume the related work in the labor and social security department of the governments of all levels, all kinds of financial or charity institutions, large or middle-scale enterprises as well as teaching and research institutes.
