The students of this specialty are supposed to learn the fundamentals of international economics and the basic theories of international trade; to grasp the basic professional knowledge and operational skills of international trade and international economic and technological cooperation; and to be familiar with the rules and practices of international trade and economy as well as the policies and regulations of China foreign trade. This program aims to train high-level professionals for foreign trade and economic management institutions or foreign trade enterprises, who are capable of investigating, studying and exploring international market; and who, proficient in foreign languages and strongly innovative, can carry out jobs in the realm of foreign trade and economy independently.
