Meisheng, Male, Han Nationaliy, was born in Hejin County
Shanxi province in October 1962. He joined the CPC in July 1985
and began his working life from July 1982. He obtained his MBA
degree from City University of Oklahoma in December 1987 and
he is professor now.
Professor Yuan Meisheng studied in the Department of Trade Economics
of Shanxi Finance and Economics Institute (SFEI) from September
1978 to July 1982. He then worked as a lecturer in the Trade
Department of SFEI from July 1982 to November 1993 and in the
same period he had also pursued his MBA degree in City University
of Oklahoma from September 1985 to December 1987. He served
as Deputy Director of the Teaching Affairs Office of SFEI (from
October 1996 to December 1997, he took part in the ¡°poverty
relief¡± team in Yidian Town of Shilou County Shanxi province
acting as team leader). He then became Director of the Teaching
Affairs Office of SUFE from July 1998 to January 2003. In January
2003, he assumed Vice President of SUFE. In June 2005, he took
the office of President of SUFE.
Professor Yuan Meisheng¡¯s other social positions: Member of
the Research Association of Shanxi Provincial Conditions, Member
of the Research Association of Shanxi Commercial Economy.
